On Friday, you’ll attend workshops offered by:

  • Michael Gray (Graywolf), owner and president of Atlas Web Service, and search marketing expert.
  • Greg Niland (GoodROI), independent consultant and search engine optimization specialist.
  • Barry Schwartz, President of Rusty Brick, Inc., and search marketing expert.
  • Chris Winfield, President of 10e20 and search engine optimization expert.
  • Ted Ulle (Tedster), Webmasterworld administrator and web strategy specialist.
  • Kim Krause Berg (Cre8pc), Cre8asite Forums founder and usability expert.
  • Jim Boykin, President and CEO of We Build Pages and link building expert.

Topics will include website usability, link building secrets, optimizing for Google Universal Search, and research and testing for online marketing campaigns.

The Saturday session will include a bus trip to New York City, leaving at 9 a.m. and returning to Troy at midnight. Visit the Empire State Building, tour the Brooklyn Brewery, go shopping or catch a show, and eat dinner in the company of fellow attendees and workshop presenters.

During this two-day session, you’ll attend workshops offered by:

  • Ammon Johns (Black Knight) will be speaking about, SEO Myths and Truths. Thinking outside the box in your SEM campaign. The Dewey Update.
  • Brian Turner (iBrian) will be speaking about, using a publishing model for SEO/link development/marketing.
  • Shaun Anderson (hobo) will be speaking about the finer arts of on Page Search Engine Optimization and internal linking methods.
  • Jim Boykin will be speaking on “What a Google Quality Rater Evaluates.”, “8 Killer Ninja Tools, and how to use them.” “Tips for improving your click-through rates.”, “Ninja Linking Tricks”.
  • QuadZilla(SEO Black Hat) will be speaking on techniques he’s used/seen/heard about, that should be of interest to all those in attendance. I’m excited to meet a man I’ve been IMing with for ages, but never met.
  • Lyndon Antcliff
  • will be speaking on Linkbait and Social Bookmarking Sites.

Workshops will take place in the morning of each day (until about 1 p.m.) with the rest of the day for sightseeing. Together with workshop leaders and other attendees, you’ll walk the narrow streets of Old Town Edinburgh, visit Edinburgh Castle, take a ghost tour, or climb up to Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park.. Of course, no trip to this amazing city would be complete without a visit to some of Edinburgh’s renowned pubs.
